Under the leadership of Provost Carol Folt and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Steven Kadish, several College committees and workgroups are involved in the process to close Dartmouth’s budget gap. Those groups include:

The Budget Committee:

The Budget Committee prepares a range of recommendations for review by the President and the Board of Trustees. The Budget Committee’s role includes coordinating the development of proposals and analyses; advising on the impact, feasibility, and priority of projects; and providing oversight to facilitate implementation of key initiatives.

The Committee on Priorities (CPR):

The CPR is a faculty group that advises the Budget Steering Committee on actions related to the overall budget and Dartmouth and Arts and Sciences priorities. The CPR and its members participate in and lead forums for faculty inputs.

The President's Administrative Forum (PAF):

The PAF is an administrative body comprised of departmental and divisional leaders (approximately 150 members) that meets 4-6 times per year to introduce and discuss administrative and financial topics.

The Student Budget Advisory Committee (SBAC):

The SBAC is a group comprised of undergraduates that advises the Budget Committee on strategies for engaging students in the budget process.

The Graduate Student Senate (GSS):

The Graduate Student Senate advises the Budget Committee on strategies for engaging graduate students in the budget process.
